Interview Workshop

Join Bobbi Knickerbocker and Abi Johnson for a workshop on tips and resources to ace your dent/med/PA school interview.

About Bobbi: My current roles include: Director of the Pre-Health Post-Bac program, Beyond 120 Pre-Health Curriculum Coordinator and senior lecturer in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. I have been at the University of Florida for 14 years as an advisor with the privilege of working primarily with prehealth students. Prior to that I worked in healthcare as a registered nurse, hospice chaplain, and bereavement coordinator. My professional journey gifted me with working with the Oglala Lakota tribe and ultimately the Roma population offering medical clinics in Romania. My great passion is to support students in achieving their goals in service to others in healthcare.

About Abi: My current role is to provide academic advising to all students who are interested in pre-health professions from all majors at UF. In addition to advising services, I am honored to teach a portion of the coursework offered by the Beyond120 program, specifically Introduction to the Pre-Health Process. I made the move to the University of Florida from Georgia Southern University where I earned both my Bachelor’s & Master’s Degrees in Kinesiology – Exercise Science. In addition to my degrees I received my Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) credential through the American College of Sports Medicine. I am thrilled to be helping pre-health students find their passions and work towards achieving their goals. It’s a journey and we are in it together!
